Director Nicolas Refn Eyes Up Christina Hendricks for Wonder Woman Role

During an Interview with NY Magazine, at the premiere of his new movie Drive, director Nicolas Refn has revealed his desire to create a Wonder Woman movie, featuring Christina Hendricks in the staring role. Speaking about the movie , which is curretntly in development with Warner Bros., “If I ever get to do it, she’s going to be it.”

Refn has previously expressed interest in helming a WW production, telling the BBC last year that “It’s probably something that, to me, would be not just a satisfaction, but almost a catharsis”, adding, “I was born to make it.”

Last year Hendrix also expressed her interest in the role to US chat show host Rachel Ray, saying “I’ve been wanting to wear that outfit my whole life … I had Underoos. I had Wonder Woman Underoos!”

While this is highly unlikely to come to fruition, I think I speak for all men when I say: DEAR WARNER BROS. PLEASE MAKE THIS DREAM COME TRUE! *ahem*
