DC Announces Flashpoint Flash Rings and Logo Badges

Wrapping up their busy day of reveals yesterday at ComicsPRO, DC have announced that they will be bringing back their highly talked about promotional ring scheme, to coincide with their Flashpoint event.

For those who remember, DC launched a similar scheme with select Blackest Night tie-in issues. A promotion that left many retailers stranded with hundreds of unsold Z-list comics that they couldn’t shift. Marvel then offered to take these off retailers hands, in exchange for a rare Deadpool variant of Siege #1… and much controversy ensued. that being said, DC had much more success with the promotional rings that they released to tie-in with Brightest Day #1, and The Flash #1.

The Flashpoint edition Flash rings will be available at comic book shops this June, with the release of Flashpoint #2.

In addition, they also announced that they would be creating a line of exclusive buttons, featuring the re-imagined superhero logos of Flashpoint, with one logo button to go with each Flashpoint tie-in series. so far, nine of these logos have been revealed, which you can check out below.
