From the press release:

Zenescope Entertainment has announced plans to increase its digital publishing schedule. Although Zenescope has been releasing digital comics since 2008, they are rapidly expanding their reach to satisfy a growing customer demand.

Zenescope’s library has grown very quickly over the past five and a half years and now spans more than 20 titles; all of which will be available in digital format by summer. Following the rollout of back-issues, all of Zenescope’s new issues will be released in digital format 30 days after in-store dates.

Popular Zenescope titles such as Grimm Fairy Tales, Grimm Myths & Legends, the Wonderland trilogy, Charmed, Fly, Neverland, Salem’s Daughter and more will all be available for digital download from ComiXology, For-Side, Graphic.ly, Wowio and PSP™ (PlayStation®Portable). ComiXology currently lists Zenescope’s Return to Wonderland as its fifth best-selling series. “Zenescope is a valued partner of ours and our community has really enjoyed reading their content in digital form,” said David Steinberger, CEO of comiXology. “We have been working hard with them on their digital initiatives and are excited to release their comics in digital format 30 days after they hit the book shelves.”

Zenescope is also in talks to release special digital-only content to increase fan interaction even further.  “The digital platform is a fantastic way to reach new fans.” says Zenescope Editor-in-Chief Ralph Tedesco, “We feel strongly that in the long run digital will only help increase the overall popularity of comics and graphic novels by hitting more mainstream readers.  That’s a real positive for the industry as a whole.”
