NYT Best Sellers List for Feb 27 - Daytripper Tops Paperback GNs, Return of Bruce Wayne Tops Hardcovers

The New York Times has just released its Best Seller’s List for the week of February 27th.

The number 1 selling paperback graphic novel for this week is Daytripper by Fabio Moon & Gabriel Bá - coming in and grabbing the top spot in its first week of release. Daytripper was one of my favorite miniseries from 2010, so it’s great to see it getting the sale it deserves, in this collected format. Personally, I think the nature of the story lent itself better to an episodic format, but creator-owned stuff always seems to sell better in trade, so whatcha’ gonna do? If you haven’t picked up a copy yet, I’d strongly recommend that you go and grab one from my Amazon store.

The number 1 selling hardcover graphic novel for the week was Batman: The Return of Bruce Wayne, written by Grant Morrison, with art by Frazer Irving, Chris Sprouse, and more - again, straight in at the top! I read this series in single issue format, and really enjoyed it. Frazer Irving’s issue was the highlight of the series, by far! Go and grab one from my Amazon store.
