It’s been known for a while now that Frazer Irving would be drawing an arc of Grant Morrison’s fantastic Batman & Robin Series (see my interview with Fraze). However, DC confirmed today that he is set to take the artistic reigns on the title with issue #13, taking over from Andy Clarke, for a three issue run that will tie-in with the story of Batman: The Return of Bruce Wayne. The story ties in so much, in fact, that Frazer is also going to be providing artwork for issue #2 of that series!

Bat-family editor Mike Marts had this to say of Frazer’s Batman art:

“Frazer’s a unique comics creator in that he handles all aspects of the art chores—pencilling, inking and colors—which gives him the best creative control an artist could ask for. And with fantastic results! Readers will drool when they see Frazer’s amazing pages to both BATMAN projects he’s working on.”
