Zombies may not be what you want to see under your Christmas tree (they’re tough on all those nicely wrapped gifts), but come August, they’ll be all you’re thinking about when you head to the Baltimore Comic-Con. We’ve lined up the one and only Charlie Adlard, who’s been grossing you out (and breaking your heart) since issue 7 of The Walking Dead. He may have studied film in school, but he found his calling when he picked up a pencil. Since then, he’s had an almost 20-year career in comics, lending his creative vision to such titles as The X-Files, The Crow, and Batman and Superman.
Remember when your parents would (if you were really good and promised to stopaskingforfiveminutes-already) let you open one gift early? You’d tear that paper to shreds, yelp with delight at whatever awesome toy was inside, and then, five minutes later…want another present. Well, we’re not your parents, so we’re going to give you it to you. Charlie Adlard’s not the only top-of-the-line talent we have lined up for the 12th annual Baltimore Comic-Con. We’ve got writer Jason Aaron of Wolverine, Scalped, and Ultimate Comics Captain America. He’s such a force that he’s recently been named a “Marvel Architect,” a designation reserved for the artists and writers who are creating the most exciting stories in the Marvel Universe.
You know, we have a feeling you’ve been REALLY good this year, so we’re going to give you a just a little bit more. After all, there are going to be so many incredible guests at the Baltimore Comic-Con, what’s telling you about two more? Write and artist Mike Grell, creator or Warlord and the Editor-In-Chief of Arrden Entertainment.  Additionally, artist Ron Frenz may be best known for his work on The Amazing Spider-Man and Spider-Girl, but it was also his design that bowled over DC Comics when it came time to change Superman’s look.
Mark your calendar (if you haven’t already!) for August 20-21, 2011, and keep watching for more great news throughout the year on guests, the Harvey Awards, industry exclusives, and programming. The latest information can always be found at our website, Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, and ComicSpace pages.
