From the press release:

From cool kids comics to the greatest super-hero fare, from classic reprints to the latest stories, it’s a wide spectrum of comics covered in the Silver comic books available for Free Comic Book Day 2011!

The Free Comic Book Day (FCBD) Committee has now announced the Silver Sponsors and their comic books for FCBD 2011, which will be held Saturday, May 7, 2011.

Selected by retailers who serve on the FCBD Committee, this year’s roster of Silver Sponsors and their books include a comic book for everyone’s tastes. See the full list below.

“With Free Comic Book Day celebrating its silver anniversary in 2011,  I think it’s fitting that this is one of the strongest line-ups of Silver comics the event has ever enjoyed,” said FCBD spokesperson Leslie Jackson. “There are twenty-seven very different Silver comics to choose from, and that will hopefully mean customers of all ages will walk away from a comic shop on May 7 with a free comic they can’t wait to read. Thanks to all the Silver sponsors that made this possible.”

The complete listing of all FCBD titles, including the 10 Gold and 27 Silver comic books, along with WizKids Green Lantern FCBD figure, can be found in the January issue of Diamond Comic Distributors’ PREVIEWS catalog, on sale on December 29, 2010.
