Waid, Bagge, Casey, Wheaton, and More Guests Announced for Emerald City Comicon 2011

The 9th Annual Emerald City Comicon will be held from March 4th - 6th, 2011, at the Washington State Convention Center in Seattle, WA. With the con only a month away, new guests are being added to the roster every few days. To see the full list of guests at this year’s show, head to http://www.emeraldcitycomicon.com/.

The guest list for this year’s ECCC is looking phenomenal! It’s starting to look pretty much like my wishlist of creators to meet. If you are heading to the show, I’ll see you there!

02.08.11 | Guests Announced

guest MARK WAID is the creator/writer of Irredeemable, Potter’s Field and Incorruptable, plus the writer of Stan Lee’s The Traveler, Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?, Zombie Tales and The Incredibles. He also writes The Amazing Spider-Man for Marvel.
JOE CASEY is part of Man of Action studios and has co-created and worked on Ben 10, Generator Rex and the upcoming Spider-Man animated series. He’s also written books such as Godland, Avengers, Iron Man, Superman/Batman and Age of Heroes. guest
guest SCOTT LOBDELL is best known for his work on an innumerable amount of X-Books for Marvel, including a long run on Uncanny X-Men. He’s also written books like The Scourge, Music Box, Angel, Gotham City Cirens, Ghostbusters and Alpha Flight.
MICHAEL ALAN NELSON is the writer 28 Days Later, Hexed, Robert E. Howard’s Hawks of Outremer, Cthulhu Tales, Fall of Cthulhu, Enigma Cipher, Dead Run, Dingo, Pirate Tales, The Savage Brothers, Pale Horse, Zombie Tales and X Isle. guest
guest MATTHEW CLARK is the artist on Doom Patrol, Crime Bible: The Five Lessons of Blood, Outsiders, Adventures of Superman, Wonder Woman, Teen Titans, Supergirl, Felon, Tangent: Superman’s Reign, Final Crisis: Submit and Superman/Batman.
PETER BAGGE is the writer/artist of books such as Hate, Hate Annual, Apocalypse Nerd, Neat Stuff, Sweat Shop, Buddy Bradley, The Megalomaniacal Spider-Man, Everybody Is Stupid Except for Me and Other Astute Observations and Book of Changes. guest

ECCC staple and fan favorite WIL WHEATON is once again back for another round of awesomeness!

This year, he will be appearing on two panels, including Wil Wheaton Presents: The Awesome Hour on Friday and on The Guild panel on Saturday!

He will be appearing Friday & Saturday only!
