The 9th Annual Emerald City Comicon will be held from March 4th - 6th, 2011, at the Washington State Convention Center in Seattle, WA. JOSH MIDDLETON is best known as a cover artist on books such as Supergirl, American Virgin, New Mutants, Vixen, JLA Classified and X-Men Unlimited, plus covers and interiors on Superman/Shazam: First Thunder and NYX, plus a short story in Fables.
SEAN GORDON MURPHY is the artist of Joe the Barbarian, Hellblazer: City of Demons, Teen Titans: Cold Case, Batman: Scarecrow and Two-Face Year One, American Splendor, House of Mystery, Outer Orbit, Crush, Off Road and Superman/Batman.
STEPHEN “JB” JONES is a character designer on the upcoming GI Joe: Renegades cartoon. He has also designed characters for a number of animated series, including Batman: Brave & The Bold, Justice League Unlimited, Batman Beyond and Superman.
JOSHUA HALE FIALKOV is the co-/creator/writer of Elk’s Run, Tumor, Punks the Comic, and Echoes. He’s written Rampaging Wolverine, Cyblade and Alibi, plus he wrote the Emmy Award Nominated animated film Afro Samurai: Resurrection.
NELSON BLAKE II is the artist on The Magdalena, Artifacts, The Darkness, Witchblade, Pilot Season: Murderer, Broken Trinity: Witchblade, G.I. Joe (including America’s Elite: Data Desk Handbook and Reloaded), plus The Ride & Top Cow 1st Look.
JOE WEEMS is the illustrator/inker of books such as Artifacts, CyberForce/Hunter-Killer, Pilot Season: Stealth, Dark Avengers/Uncanny X-Men: Utopia, The Darkness, Action Comics, Marvel Premiere Classics, Image United, Superman and New X-Men.
Other guests include SHELLI PEROLINE (Muppet Snow White), TRAVIS HILL (Toy Story), SINA GRACE (The Li’l Depressed Boy), MATT KINDT (Super Spy), REBEKAH ISAACS (DV8), ERIC BASALDUA (Escape From Wonderland), MARK SABLE (DC Special: Cyborg), MIKE MITCHELL (I’m With CoCo) and BRIAN HURTT (The Sixth Gun). Unfortunately, Barry Kitson will be unable to appear this year.
