I honestly don’t know how I missed this news, but it seems that Steve Ellis was the artist responsible for the zarjaz cover to 2000 AD prog 1720, which hit stands two weeks ago. Steve Ellis is a fantastic artist, and is best know for his amazing digital comics High Moon and Box 13, as well as tons of work at DC and Marvel, most recently on Darkstar and The Winter Guard.

While is issue came out in the UK a couple of weeks ago, it won’t be available in the states for a couple of months, so make sure to look out for it in the upcoming copy of Previews catalog.

I have posted his cover below, along with a look at his original artwork for the cover (from 2000 AD Covers Uncovered).
