Si Spurrier Coming to Avatar Press?
I just posted Avatar Press’ Spring 2011 convention schedule, and noticed something interesting. It look like Avatar have listed Si Spurrier (2000 AD, Gutsville, Age of X Universe)as one of their guests for Phoenix Comicon in May. This is odd because Si doesn’t have any projects out with Avatar. Can we assume this means that Avatar are planning to announce an upcoming project with Si as the writer? I think so!
I tweeted about noticing this, and Si Retweeted me and said “Beady Eyes”. He then tweeted: “So, yeah… I will indeed be at the Phoenix AZ comic-con, and there will indeed be Big News.”
I’ll post more details as they happen, but I expect the news will go as an exclusive to Bleeding Cool, being as how Avatar owns the site. Oh well!
