Joseph Gordon-Levitt In Talks To Join ‘The Dark Knight Rises’

I apologize that this one is a little stale! This news actually broke a couple of days ago, and I neglected to cover it. However, I thought I’d still post it, as some people out there may not know about it yet:

Deadline.com are reporting that Joseph Gordon-Levitt is in talks to reunite with Inception director Christopher Nolan for The Dark Knight Rises. It is not yet known what role he will play, but Deadline report that sources have told them that “he will be in the movie when Nolan starts production this spring.”

The Dark Knight Rises is slated for release on July 20, 2021. The film will be distributed worldwide by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment Company.

Nolan will direct the film from a screenplay he wrote with Jonathan Nolan, from a story by Christopher Nolan and David S. Goyer. Nolan will also produce the film with his longtime producing partner, Emma Thomas, and Charles Roven.

The film is set to star Christian Bale and Michael Caine, reprising their roles of Bruce Wayne/Batman and Alfred Pennyworth, respectively. The villains in the film have been announced as Anne Hathaway as Catwoman, and Tom Hardy as Bane.
