From the press release:

September 22, 2010, Portland OR — Dark Horse Comics, NW32, Things From Another World (TFAW.com), and FUNimation Entertainment have combined forces to bring the city of Portland a deliciously deviant Halloween celebration — the Blood and Guts Bash — at the Bagdad Theater (3702 S.E. Hawthorne Blvd. Portland, OR 97214) on October 29 from 9 p.m. until midnight! Admission is free to the public, and this is a 21-and-older event.

The Blood and Guts Bash will be hosted by local geek impresario Rick Emerson, host of NW32′s Outlook Portland. Attendees will get to see a special Halloween episode of ‘The Vampire Diaries’ on the big screen before Dark Horse Comics and FUNimation present choice anime episodes from the vampire epic ‘Hellsing Ultimate’ and a very special late-night look at the hyper-violent ‘GANTZ’!

In addition to free screenings of some happily horrific shows, Dark Horse Comics and FUNimation Entertainment will be providing door prizes, giveaway items, and more. Come in costume for a chance to win a gigantic prize package from Things From Another World: prizes for second, third, and fourth place will also be awarded! And, NW32 and TFAW will be teaming up to offer prizes for a wide variety of vampire costume-specific prizes, such as “Scariest Vampire,” “Sexiest Vampire,” “Most Unique Take on the Vampire,” and more!

In a city known for its eccentrics, the Bagdad Theater is happy to host an event for big kids with black hearts where adult beverages can be enjoyed while watching bloody, creepy fun. Halloween brings out the fearless freak in us all, so mark your calendar and sharpen your fangs, because this one-night-only event will be the talk of Stumptown on All Hallow’s Eve.
