Long Beach Comics Expo 2011 Announces Programming

MAD Event Management and Long Beach Comic Con are proud to announce that they have added a full programming schedule to their one day Comic Expo on April 23rd. Comic Expo is a celebration of comic books with comic book guests, vendors, Artist Alley, Storm Troopers and eclectic programming being held at the Long Beach Convention Center in the Promenade Ballroom.

Co-promoters of Long Beach Comic Con Phil Lawrence and Martha Donato are both thrilled to announce a robust programming schedule, with Lawrence saying, “Having the support of the industry and being able to provide a full day of entertainment for our attendees is a big thrill for us. Our guest list includes industry superstars such as Tim Bradstreet, Steve Niles, Bernie Wrightson, JT Krul, Richard Starkings, Dustin Nguyen, Dean Yeagle, and many more! We’re looking forward to enjoying a unique schedule of programming - full of energy and enthusiasm – which is a real treat, and is new from last year.”

Highlights of the Comic Expo programming schedule include a Q&A with Marv Wolfman and Neo Edmund on Writing; Podcasting 101 with Pendant Audio; Mike Dubisch with a Fantasy Art Demonstration; Anime Voice Acting Workshop: Dub Like You Mean It! with

Crispin Freeman; Barbara Kesel Presents a Q&A on Comics Scripts writing; Monsterverse Comics Presents Classic Horror Meets Modern Comics; Aspen Comics Q&A; and a Joe Rubinstein Inking Workshop.
