Lindsay Lohan Rumoured to Be Up for the Part of Lana Lang in Superman: The Man of Steel

1

The website comicbooknews.com is claiming that sources close to the production have shared with them that Lindsay Lohan is being considered for the role of Lana Lang in Zack Snyder’s upcoming reboot of the Superman franchise, The Man of Steel.

I’ve been told Lohan is up for the role of Lana Lang; that she will be a popular girl in high school who doesn’t give Clark the time of day. While Clark can’t really show Lana who he really is (a super man), she eventually discovers for herself when sees Clark do a rescue.

Rumours of her involvement in the movie have been circulating for a couple of months now, but previous rumours had her in the role of Kryptonian villainess, Ursa. I actually find this rumour far more believable, because she does look uncannily like how Lana looked in the silver age comics.

More on this as it happens, but what do you think? Can she pull it off?

Superman: The Man of Steel is set to reboot the Superman film franchise for Warner Bros. Zack Snyder is directing the movie, with production by Chris Nolan, Charles Roven, Emma Thomas, and Deborah Snyder. The screenplay is being written by David S. Goyer, based on a story by Goyer and Nolan. Thomas Tull and Lloyd Phillips are serving as executive producers.

Zack Snyder has it wrong. Amy Adams would be a better Lana and Lindsay would be a better Lois. And don’t get me wrong, I don’t think that Lindsay would be a good Lois, but I think she’d be better then Amy. And don’t get me wrong, I like Amy, she’s just not right for Lois. It doesn’t matter anyway, this entire movie is going to be horrible anyway. DC can’t figure out what to do with the franchise so they’re going for an MTV generation version of the hero instead of a good version. Oh well.
