Fantagraphics’ Mome Anthology to End with Issue 22 Later This Year!

Tom Spurgeon at The Comics Reporter has the news that Fantagraphic Books’ Mome anthology will be coming to an end later this year, with the release of its 22nd volume. The final volume of the series will be released an San Diego Comic Con International 2011 this July.

I’ve really been enjoying FB’s Mome, it’s a fantastic anthology comic that has showcased the talents of a number of wonderful new cartoonists over the years. I’ll be sad to see it go!

The Comics Reporter has a great piece on the history of Mome, which can read here.
