Jonah Weiland of Comic Book Resources stated, “I’m very pleased Top Cow has allowed CBR & ROBOT 6 this opportunity to serialize the first issue of ECHOES online. ECHOES is an engaging and creepy story, the kind that sticks in your head well after you’ve read it. It’s an example of the incredible creativity that exists in the comics medium that deserves greater exposure and we’re happy to do our part.”

Fialkov also looks forward to this opportunity to provide some of the real behind the scenes story of ECHOES to the fans. He added, “As a comics creator working outside the mainstream, I’ve had to fight for every reader.
