Telltale Developing Downloadable Games Based on Fables and The Walking Dead

1

During an interview with All Things Digital, Telltale Games, a California-based videogame company, has announced that it has an exclusive worldwide publishing agreement with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment to develop videogames based on the Fables comic-book series. In addition, they revealed they have an exclusive worldwide agreement to develop and publish a series of videogames based on AMC’s  The Walking Dead-  itself being based on The Walking Dead comic book series.

The games will be  written as a narrative, or a cinematic adventure, and will be divided into five separate episodes. Players will be able to download a new episode every four weeks for a six-month period. A season pass for a game, including all episodes, will cost roughly $35.

To find out about the other games they have in development, and their new Back to the Future game, check out the article on All Things Digital.

Hmmm, this could have some potential. I’ve played a couple of Telltale’s games before, and was quite impressed. Their newer games seem to be coming out on the Mac too, so I might actually be able to play these. I’m also extremely tempted to download their new Back to the Future game, when I get home from work…
