What you find isn’t nearly as important as what finds you . . .

Since 1996, Finder has set the bar for science-fiction storytelling, with a lush, intricate world and compelling characters. Now, Carla Speed McNeil’s Eisner Award-winning series comes to Dark Horse with the original graphic novel Voice.

In a society defined by its intricate network of clans, Rachel Grosvenor has grown up an outcast, straddling worlds. Now, her quest for admission to a highly exclusive clan sends Rachel spiraling into the dark underbelly of Anvard and a paradox that holds the key to her future: How do you find a Finder?

* Rising star Carla Speed McNeil has been nominated for seventeen industry awards, winning five times, since 1998!

* Voice won the 2009 Eisner Award for Best Webcomic.

“Completely fascinating.” -Warren Ellis

“Finder is, bar none, the best SF comic being published today.” -Strange Horizons

SIN-EATER

“It’s a delicate matter when one of your own goes so bad, so fast.”

Jaeger returns to Emma, an old girlfriend; meanwhile, Brigham, Emma’s ex-husband and Jaeger’s former commanding officer, has been released from prison, and Jaeger finds himself in the delicate position of running interference between Emma and Brigham, who, it becomes increasingly clear, is a ticking time bomb waiting to go off.

KING OF THE CATS

After taking what appears to be a routine guard job on a caravan, Jaeger finds himself stranded at Munkytown, a bizarre city-cum-theme-park, brokering a precarious treaty between the Ascians and the local Nyima—who are themselves thrown into chaos by the death of their king.

TALISMAN

“The greatest gift I ever had taken away from me was a book.”

When Marcie was a little kid, her most beloved possession was a book given to her by Jaeger. Lost before she could learn to read, the book became an obsession, a totem in Marcie’s quest to recapture its lost stories—and create her own.

VOICE

Rachel Grosvenor has grown up straddling worlds. The daughter of a Medawar father and a Llaverac mother, half raised by her mother’s nomadic lover, Rachel has fought her way through a grueling contest for admittance to the Llaverac clan. But just as her social ascent seems inevitable—and her family’s future secure—the theft of an indispensable heirloom sends her spiraling into the dark underbelly of Anvard and a paradox that holds the key to her future: How do you find a Finder?
