Red Nominated for the 2011 Golden Globe for Best Motion Picture, Comedy or Musical

Yesterday morning, I posted the news that The Walking Dead had been nominated for a Golden Globe, in the Category of Best Television Series, Drama. Well, it would appear that I completely missed the fact that Red
was also nominated for an award! Whoops! Sorry to Warren Ellis and Cully Hamner for such a massive oversight!

The movie was nominated in the category of Best Motion Picture, Comedy or Musical. This category sees the movie go up against the like of The Tourist, Alice in Wonderland, and… Burlesque!! I honestly never thought we’d see the day when we’d see Warren go up against Christina Aguilera:D

If you give a crap about such things, check out the full list of nominees at TV by the Numbers. Apparently Glee cleaned up… there’s no accounting for taste!
