More Than 180 Comics Creators To Attend Wizard World Atlanta Comic Con This Weekend

Mike Grell, Humberto Ramos, Bill Sienkiewicz, Cully Hamner, Michael Golden Among Top Writers And Artists At Cobb Galleria Centre Saturday And Sunday

NEW YORK and ATLANTA – December 1, 2021 – Six Eisner Award winners or nominees are among the more than 180 comic creators scheduled to attend this weekend’s Wizard World Atlanta Comic Con, part of North America’s largest pop-culture tour, Saturday and Sunday at the Cobb Galleria Centre. Superstar artists and writers like Mike Grell (“Green Arrow”), Humberto Ramos (“Amazing Spider-Man”), Bill Sienkiewicz (“Elektra”), Cully Hamner (“Red”), Michael Golden (“X-Men”) and Ethan Van Sciver (“Green Lantern”) headline one of the greatest collections of talent assembled this year.

Eisner winners Paul Jenkins (“Wolverine”), Georges Jeanty (“Buffy: The Vampire Slayer”), Cameron Stewart (“Batman & Robin”), Laura Martin (“New Avengers”), Joe Pruett (“X-Men”), and Andy Runton (“Owly”), and nominees Tony Harris (“Starman”) and David Mack (“Kabuki”) will also be on hand to meet fans, sign autographs and sketch.

Many Georgia-based artists will be on hand as well.

Atlanta Comic Con will bring together thousands of fans of all ages and dozens of celebrities and industry professionals to celebrate the best in pop culture, movies, comics, toys, video gaming, television, gaming, original art, collectibles, contests and more.

Among the stars scheduled to attend are Adam West and Burt Ward, who played Batman and Robin, respectively, in the original “Batman” television series, Henry Winkler (“Happy Days”), Emmy Award nominees Billy Dee Williams (STAR WARS: THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK; BATMAN, BRIAN’S SONG), Mimi Rogers (AUSTIN POWERS, “The X-Files”), and Pam Grier (“Smallville,” “The L Word,”), veteran actor Richard Roundtree (SHAFT) and Academy Award winner (Best Effects, Visual Effects) Tom Woodruff Jr. (DEATH BECOMES HER).

“The Walking Dead” TV show will also be well represented with eight actors and actresses in attendance.

The Cobb Galleria Centre is located at 2 Galleria Parkway in Atlanta. Atlanta Comic Con is the final stop on Wizard’s eight-city 2010 North American tour. Hours are Saturday, Dec. 4, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.; and Sunday, Dec. 5, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.. Tickets are available in advance or by calling 1-866-882-5860 and online at www.wizardworld.com/atlanta.html at up to a 15% savings over tickets purchased at the door. Advance adult single-day tickets are $25; two-day weekend tickets are $40, and tickets are free for children age 10 and under when accompanied by a paid adult (limit two children per adult).
