Dwight L MacPherson Needs Your Help

0

I just read this over on Dwight’s Blog:

All right, ladies and gentlemen, I am about to ask you for a huge favor. Sure, you’ve seen me around the interverse talking about my projects, but never have I needed your help more than now.

So here goes.

I’ve just heard from Arcana Studios that the long-awaited Dead Men Tell No Tales Trade Paperback is in danger of being canceled. We have ONE WEEK to get pre-orders in for the trade, and, if we don’t get you and others you know to pre-order this book in that timeframe, it WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE IN SHOPS AND BOOKSTORES.

So here’s where I ask you to please, please ask your shop to pre-order the trade for you. After two years of waiting, it would be a devastating defeat to see the book canceled so close to finally becoming a reality. As you know, this is the first comic book I ever wrote, so it has a very special place in my heart.

So please… help us. Help ME.

Call or visit your local shop and ask them to pre-order the Dead Men Tell No Tales Trade Paperback for you.

Here is the pertinent information:

In the golden age of piracy, Captain Kidd, Blackbeard, and Black Bart Roberts, the three most infamous pirates in history, contend for the most sacred prize the world has ever known - the lost Relics of Christ! This absolute edition collects the entire sold-out series hailed by critics and fans alike as “Pirates of the Caribbean meets Indiana Jones.” Featuring a cover illustration by Ben Templesmith (30 Days of Night), this is the first published work by prolific creator Dwight L. MacPherson (The Surreal Adventures of Edgar Allan Poo).

So, go help the guy out. Pre-order a copy for you and your friends, and tell your store than unless they preorder some for the shelf you will start picking up your comics in the nude! Dwight’s a nice guy, the book is cool, and just look at those fucking Templesmith covers!
