Marvel Comics have announced that they are planning to launch a new imprint, which is inspired by the Astonishing X-Men series that was created by Joss Whedon and John Cassaday.
The ‘Astonishing‘ line will publish comics that are “set firmly in the Marvel Universe and providing the perfect starting point for all readers, new or old”. [...]

Image Comics just revealed Jim Lee’s limited edition 1-in-25 variant cover for Liberty Comics #2, based off his collaboration with Sandman writer Neil Gaiman. Liberty Comics #2 is a special not-for-profit comic book release, the proceeds of which all go to benefit the First Amendment legal work of the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund.
