Hypergeek favourite artist Leigh Gallagher has recently had his first Judge Dredd strip published in Judge Dredd Megazine #293. The story is titled ‘Dog Soldiers, Part 1‘, and is written by Robbie Morrison, drawn by Leigh, and is coloured by Abigail Ryder (only her second colouring job for 2000 AD/JD Meg).
As a special treat, Leigh [...]

This short film was directed by Scott Leberecht as part of the American Film Institute’s director’s studies program. Andrew Bryniarski stars as Lobo, with Tom [...]
As a follow-up to Diamond Distribution’s Top 20 Publishers, Top 300 Comics, and Top 300 TPBs & GNs for November 2009, I have used the raw data to construct the sales charts for small press titles in November 2009.
Diamond provided their own small press charts, but I chose to ignore them, for a couple of [...]

Occasionally, Tharg permits some of his script & art droids to leave 2000 AD headquarters. In the Weekly Droid Watch, I’m going to be keeping an eye on what present and former droids have been up to each week. 2000 AD droids tend to go on to produce some of the most phenomenal U.S. comics, [...]

I mentioned this convention a few months ago, as I was REALLY looking forward to going. At the time I was working, and my mum, whilst very ill, still had a decent prognosis from the doctors, so I was planning to come back and visit her and also hit the show!
Sadly, I lost my job [...]

PJ Holden is a comic artist from Northern Ireland who is probably best known for his work in 2000 AD and Judge Dredd Megazine, where he has worked on many popular ‘Thrills’ such as Judge Dredd, Rogue Trooper, Mega-City One, The 86ers, and Dead Signal.
PJ’s forays into the U.S. comic industry have been few [...]

With the news that the world’s finest producer of fake cockney gangsta films is set to Direct the upcoming ‘Lobo’ movie, I thought I would remind readers out the existence of ‘The Lobo Paramilitary Christmas Special’.
This short, incredibly low budget film probably catches more of the true spirit of Lobo than guy Ritchie could do [...]

A couple of days ago PJ Holden tweeted that he had made some of his older comic work available to view for free on the website Myebook. I did not have time to check out the comic at the time, and only got around to viewing it this evening. I am familiar with Myebook from [...]
