Online Graphic Novel ‘Turbo Defiant Kimecan’ Brings on Award-Winning Editor Joe Keatinge

Turbo Defiant Kimecan, an online graphic novel since January 2010, is now joined by editor Joe Keatinge as it prepares to make the leap from digital to print later on this year.

Joe Keatinge is best known for his editorial work on the Eisner and Harvey award-winning anthology, PopGun with co-editors Mark Andrew Smith and DJ Kirkbride. In addition, he worked on staff with Image Comics for over half a decade, primarily in marketing, sales and licensing capacities. Most recently he’s shifted his career to work as a writer by collaborating with such creators as Michael Allred, Erik Larsen and soon Frank Cho on their upcoming Image Comics series, BRUTAL. He also still selectively edits titles, such as Cho’s 50 GIRLS 50, making his contribution to Turbo Defiant Kimecan something special.

TDK publishes updates every Tuesday and currently runs its second book online, enjoying an increased growth of audience each month, reaching the top 100 comics in topwebcomics.com steady  for the the past four months. the back catalog has 146 pages worth of comic with the first book being planned for a release late this year.
