Marvel Releases a Shield Teaser Image: ‘It’s Time to Save the World’

Marvel have provided Hypergeek with a teaser image titled ‘It’s Time to Save the World‘.
The image appears to tease events in the Shield series, which debuts this April, and is written by Jonathan Hickman, with artwork by Dustin Weaver. The upcoming series is set to reveal the secret history of S.H.I.E.L.D., starting in ancient Egypt. The series will show S.H.I.E.L.D.’s clandestine activities throughout the history of modern civilization, and will feature some of history’s greatest figures protecting the earth from threats like Galactus, and the Celestials. Shown in the teaser is an altered version of Leonardo da Vinci’s Vitruvian Man, with the famous figure replaced by Galactus. Also shown in the image is a crystal skull, which is being used as a paperweight.
