DC Offers Promotional Flash Rings with Copies of The Flash #1 and Green Lantern Rings with Green Lantern #53

DC Comics has announced that they will be offering retailers and fans the chance to take part in another promotional ring campaign. I assume everyone is now familiar with the ring campaign that DC launched back in November, where fans could get the power rings of the various lantern corps with select Blackest Night tie-in issues. I also assume everyone is familiar with the controversy surrounding Marvel’s offer to retailers to trade in unsold copies of these issues. If not, read here!
Well, it seems that unabashed with this slight against their previous ring campaign, DC are forging ahead with another one:
| With a purchase of 10 copies of The Flash #1, retailers may order Flash promotional rings. The Flash #1 and the Flash promotional rings are scheduled to arrive in stores on April 14. |

| With a purchase of 10 copies of Green Lantern #53, retailers may order Green Lantern promotional rings. Green Lantern #53 and the Green Lantern promotional rings are scheduled to arrive in stores on April 21. |

These issues will be solicited in the February issue of Previews magazine, and DC will be emailing retailers about the offer today. If you are interested in picking up the rings, make sure to check with you retailer that they will be taking part in the offer.
Dan Didio had this to say about the promotion:

No announcement has yet been made about a White Lantern promotional ring, but keep you eyes pealed, because it is definitely coming. Mark my words!
