A Sneak Peek of X-Factor Forever #1

Earlier this week Marvel released their March 2010 solicitations, and hidden amongst them was a title called X-Factor Forever. No, it’s not a declaration of support for the United Kingdom talent shows attempt to get the Christmas number one… instead, it’s a 5-part miniseries in the vein of X-Men Forever, that will see Louise Simonson go back and continue her famous run on the X-Factor series (which ended with issue #64) in a splinter timeline/separate continuity. Simonson will be joined on this series by artist Dan Panosian.

This sounds like a pretty interesting idea, and one that I shall probably be on-board for. I really enjoyed the first couple of arcs of Chris Claremont’s X-Men forever, but I was forced to drop the title, as I couldn’t afford to keep paying $3.99 US for it every two weeks. This one is just a five-issue miniseries, and should be much more manageable.
