More New Guests Added to the Emerald City Comic Con 2010 Lineup!

Held from March 13th & 14th, 2010, Washington State Convention & Trade Center, Seattle, WA, Emerald City Comic Con is one of the best regarded U.S. Comic conventions, enjoyed equally by both fans and professionals.
In the run up to the con, new guests are being announced every few days. It’s been a while since I checked for updates, but since I last checked, tons of exciting new guests have been added to the roster, including Kurt Busiek, Moritat, Kevin Maguire, Tim Bradstreet, and many more. TOP COW PRODUCTIONS is best known as the publisher behind the hit titles Witchblade, The Darkness, Cyberforce and Wanted. Publisher FILIP SABLIK will be representing the company along with Michael Broussard (see below). |

MICHAEL BROUSSARD is the regular artist on The Darkness. He has also illustrated books such as Dark Avengers/Uncanny X-Men: Utopia, New Avengers, Civil War: The Initiative, Civil War: Marvel Universe, Thunderbolts and Unholy Union. |

KURT BUSIEK is the Eisner Award winning writer of Astro City. He has written books such as Trinity, Marvels, JLA/Avengers, Superman: Secret Identity, Wednesday Comics, Conan, Supergirl, The Order, Green Lantern and Marvels: Eye of the Camera. |

STEVE SADOWSKI is the artist of the maxi-series Avengers/Invaders. He has illustrated books like Justice Society of America, Red Sonja, Hawkman, Firestorm: The Nuclear Man, Avengers, Starman, Wonder Woman and Project Superpowers. |

JUSTIN ‘MORITAT’ NORMAN is best known for his work on the Elephantmen series, including War Toys, War Toys: Yvette and The Pilot. He’s illustrated stories for the JLA 80-Page Giant, Heavy Metal and anthologies Popgun and Outlaw Territory. |

ERIC BASALDUA most recently completed work on Dark Avengers/Uncanny X-Men: Utopia. He’s also worked on Darkness, Witchblade, Ultimate FF, New Avengers, Tomb Raider, Thunderbolts, Hunter-Killer and Civil War: The Initiative. |

UDON Entertainment is an award-winning Canadian-based art collective. Project Manager JIM ZUBKAVICH (Makeshift Miracle, Street Fighter II Turbo) will be representing the company along with JOE NG and OMAR DOGAN (see below). |

JOE NG is the artist of Street Fighter IV. He has illustrated numerous books in the Transformers franchise, including Energon, Generation 1, More Than Meets The Eye, War Within and GI Joe vs. Transformers, plus Red Sonja: Sonja Goes East. |

OMAR DOGAN is inextricably linked to the Street Fighter franchise from Udon. He recently finished the Street Fighter Legends: Chun-Li series and has also illustrated Street Fighter, SFII Turbo, SF Legends: Sakura and SF: Remix as well. |

JAMES ASMUS is the writer of Dark X-Men: The Beginning for Marvel Comics. He also written X-Men: Manifest Destiny, X-Men: Manifest Destiny Nightcrawler and Runaways for Marvel as well. |

PAUL GULACY is best known for his work on Shang-Chi: Master of Kung Fu. He recently illustrated Cable and Jonah Hex and has worked on books such as Penance: Relentless, Catwoman and Squadron Supreme: Hyperion vs. Nighthawk. |

GREG ‘DARK ONE’ WILLIAMS has published over 30 books and is best known for as the creator of Animal Mystic. He has also worked on books such as Animal Mystic Water Wars, Heavy Metal, Lady Death, Razor, Heavy Metal and Paleo Pirate. |

JHONEN VASQUEZ is best known as the creator of the Nickelodeon TV series Invader Zim and of the graphic novel Johnny the Homicidal Maniac. On Invader Zim, he was the Head Writer and Original Character Designer, plus a Voice Actor. Additionally, he created the comics Squee, Jellyfist, Fillerbunny and Everything Can Be Beaten. He recently completed a story for Marvel’s Strange Tales featuring M.O.D.O.K. |

DOUG MAHNKE is the illustrator on Green Lantern and also finished out the art chores on the mega event Final Crisis. He has worked on books such as Black Adam: The Dark Age, Stormwatch PHD, Batman, JLA and Justice League Elite. |

KEVIN MAGUIRE is currently the artist on Doom Patrol’s back ups and is best known for his work on Justice League International where he first introduced his signature ‘group cover’ shots (right). He’s also worked on the titles JLA & The Defenders. |

TIM BRADSTREET is one of the top cover artists in the industry. He’s best known for his work on the Punisher series, including illustrations for the movie adaptation. He’s also covered such books as Hellblazer, 28 Days Later, X-Files and Wolverine. |

MARJORIE LIU is the New York Times bestselling author of two ongoing series: the Dirk & Steele novels and the Hunter Kiss novels. She is also the co-writer of Dark Wolverine and wrote the series NYX: No Way Home. |

JOE DODD has worked on books such as Nightwing for DC Comics, Human Torch, Marvel Age: Fantastic Four, Marvel Age: Hulk for Marvel Comics, G.I.Joe titles like Special Missions, Declassified and Dreadnoks. |
