Desperado Publishing Becomes an Imprint of IDW Publishing

12991IDW_logo-mdIDW Publishing has announced that they arranged a “publishing agreement” with Desperado Publishing, that will see the company becoming an imprint of IDW, bringing along their roster of creators, and back-catalogue of titles.

DesperadoDesperado Publishing was formed in 2004 by comics veteran, Joe Pruett, as a venue and outlet for creators who have a strong and passionate desire to see their own personal creative visions and inspirations brought to life on the printed page.

In late 2004, Desperado Publishing found a like-minded partner formed a similar publishing agreement with Image Comics, that would last for two and a half years, before Desperado separated from Image in July of 2007, to publish under their own banner

Desperado titles have been nominated for five Eisner Awards and won two since 2007.
