Wil Wheaton to Play the Part of Mr. Qubit in the Motion Comic Version of Mark Waid’s Irredeemable

It seems that Mark Waid’s contemporary superhero classic, Irredeemable, is currently being developed into a motion comic. No official word has come from BOOM! yet, but Wil Wheaton mentioned on his blog this morning that he was in the studio yesterday recording the voice of Mr. Qubit, the scientific genius, for the upcoming project.
Irredeemable is the latest in what seems to be a growing trend of comics given the motion comic treatment, with DC having adapted Watchmen and Batman: Mad Love, and Marvel adapting Spider-Woman and Astonishing X-Men: Gifted, amongst many more.
I imagine BOOM! will make some sort of announcement about this nearer to release, so watch this space for more news about the project, and other actors involved…
