Don’t forget, Tomorrow is the 16^th London MCM Expo

I mentioned this convention a few months ago, as I was REALLY looking forward to going. At the time I was working, and my mum, whilst very ill, still had a decent prognosis from the doctors, so I was planning to come back and visit her and also hit the show!

Sadly, I lost my job two months ago, and then my mum died last month. I returned to the UK for her funeral, but couldn’t stay long, as I had to get straight back and resume my job search. I still haven’t found a job, but let’s not linger on my bad luck!

If you’ve not yet bought a ticket for the show yet, make sure they still have some available, then get your ass down to London. What are you waiting for!!!!!

While you’re there, tell Leigh Gallagher I said hi, and ask him if you can stroke his 7ft monster!

The 16th biannual London MCM (Movies, Comics & Media) Expo will be held on 24-25 October 2009 at the Excel, London.

The MCM expo is more of a multimedia convention, in the vein of Comic-Con International, and features the following areas:

The Comic Village is one of the newest additions to the London MCM expo, but its popularity is gowning incredibly quickly, enabling them to book bigger and better guests every time!

The October guest list has several impressive “big” names on it, as well as a veritable who’s who of the British small press and independent comic scene.
