Changes to Apple’s In-App Purchasing Policy Means That That Comics by comiXology App is Now FREE!

A Free version of the Comics by comiXology app has been around for a while now, but would only let you view the comics available to download for free, because Apple would not allow in-app purchases for free applications. Therefore, users were only allowed to purchase comics in-app with the $1.99 version of the application.
However, Apple sent emails to iPhone app developers today that in-app purchases are now permitted in free apps. comiXology moved quickly to change the price of its Comics by comiXology app to FREE! The free version of Comics still comes with over 60 quality free comics, plus its exclusive new series Box 13.
