I’m a huge fan of The Immortal Iron Fist. I loved Ed Brubaker and Matt Fraction’s reinvention of the series, and have been really enjoying Duane Swierczynski’s continuation of the story.

One of the best things introduced in the new series are the immortal weapons of the other five cities of heaven. A couple of months back Marvel announced that they would be doing a series of one-shots focusing on the stories of the other immortal weapons, beginning with the story of Fat Cobra.

Immortal Weapons #1: Fat Cobra will be on-sale July 22nd. To whet our appetite for the new series, Marvel has released a free sketch book of the up coming series, including nine pages from issue #1, which is viewable by clicking here. Go check it out, it looks great!
