The Steve Niles Incident - Updated With Direct Quote From Steve Himself
I just received a reply from Steve about the incident, here is what he had to say
“I can’t say much, but I can say I was not the one who made it physical and fortunately it ended quickly. Please tell everybody thanks for the support and I wish I could say more but the attack was related to the troubles I had a few years ago so I’m being told to stay mum while its looked into.”
So, it would seem that some of the speculation as to he cause of the conflict was correct. Let’s just leave it at that. Steve and Sarah are both great people and deserve some privacy. To those people dredging up the past, particularly the answer machine messages. Please stop, there are more important things in life.
P.S. Steve also said that he and Bernie Wrightson are already planning their next series to follow up on Dead She Said. So, keep an eye out for that. If you aren’t reading Dead She Said, then make sure you pick up the issues when you in your LCS this weekend. It is fantastic!
